|GILBERT (LEBOW), Helen Lueann, age 61, departed this life on Friday, September 13, 2013 at the Countryside Nursing Home, Pilot Point, Texas. A native of Fort Worth, Texas she attended North Side High School and Tarrant County College. Lueann was born on September 30, 1951. She is preceded in death by her parents, Fritz E. and Helen Lebow, and a daughter Donna Snow White. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law; Jennifier and Robert Altizer of Little Elm, Texas, and Laura and Travis Pouarz of Austin, Texas; four grandchildren, Conner and Sarah Altizer of Little Elm, Texas; and Wyatt and Elliot Pouarz of Austin, Texas; a brother and his wife, Fritz E. and Betty Lebow, Jr. of Clinton, Tennessee, and a sister, Mary Jeanette Weldon also of Clinton, Tennessee. She also is survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Lueann was a caring, religious person, who grew-up and practiced the Baptist Faith. She was educated in, and served as, a Social Services Counselor at various facilities in the Fort Worth area. Lueann was an avid reader and a dedicated fan of the Dallas Cowboys. She made friends easily and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. For the past few years, she has had a special relationship with the staff and residents at the Countryside Nursing Home in Pilot Point.
Lueann’s family wishes to express their appreciation for the dedicated, loving care and professionalism provided by the staff members of the Countryside Nursing Home and the Heart-to-Heart Hospice Care organizations.
